Dadaab Refugee Camp in Kenya is the largest refugee camp in the world. Working with CARE International and the International Rescue Committee to photograph and interview refugee community workers. These individuals - refugees from Somalia - strive, work, fight for gender equality and the end of violence against women and girls in their community. Facing threats, they provide life-saving services to survivors of violence, advocate for the rights of women and girls, and spark transformation. Here, they share thoughts about their work, life in the camp, and what drives them to do this work.
